I am a licensed physical therapist who graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. Since that time I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, rehabilitation, home health, skilled nursing, acute care, and adult day care . I have been living and working in Wilmington since 2004.
During my 28 years as a physical therapist, I have taken numerous continuing education courses on a variety of topics including women’s health/ incontinence, manual therapy techniques (including The John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach®, Visceral Manipulation, Strain/Counterstrain, Muscle Energy, CranioSacral Therapy, Total Motion Release, and joint mobilization) and therapeutic exercise (including McKenzie back exercises, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, muscle imbalances, golf, and Pilates). I enjoy taking new courses to update my skills and learn new ways to help my patients.
I started my own cash pay/out of network practice to allow me to offer my patients the best treatments available (which address the whole body) without being limited by insurance and time restrictions.
